Job Description
Individuals must have some horse riding experience and be willing to learn the ins and outs of our horse program. This is a riding and training internship along with daily chores and a great opportunity for individuals to improve their horsemanship. Must have great people skills and be interested in working with horses.

Responsibilities
l Provide general support to visitors and members.
l Assist in keeping the entire riding site clean and well maintained.
l Manage and care for all equipment and facilities related to the riding program.
l Assist in preparation of ranch for special events.
[If the candidate is a trained rider]
l Responsible for assisting the chief instructor with the implementation of the equestrian program with the focus of western style riding and the care and feeding of the horses.
l Grooming, saddling, training the horses, performing barn and tack maintenance, and general ranch chores by following the chief instructor’s guidance.
l Assist counselors in teaching riding lessons or give instruction on basic horsemanship.
Requirements
l English & Mandarin speaker is preferable.
l Strong verbal and written communication skills.
l Horse riding background preferred.
l Great customer service-focus and phone manner.
l Positive and outgoing attitude.
l Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
l Must be at least 18 years of age.
Working hours
Part-time, at least 2 days a week.
