Event Summary: Established in 1985, China Optometric & Optical Association (COOA) (zhōng guó yǎn jìng xié huì 中国眼镜协会) is a national association with over 1,000 member companies composed of manufacturers, optometrists, traders, research institutes and education institutions of the industry. China Light Industrial Corporation for Foreign Economic & Technical Co-operation (CLETC) (zhōng guó qīng gōng yè duì wài jīng jì jì shù hé zuò gōng sī 中国轻工业对外经济技术合作公司) was set up in 1983. CLETC is a large state-owned foreign economic co-operation and trade enterprise approved by the State Council and registered at the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. CLETC is one of the organizers of CIOF and SIOF.

The 9th edition of the China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair - Shenzhen (zhōng guó shēn zhèn guó jì huáng jīn zhū bǎo yù shí zhǎn lǎn huì 中国深圳国际黄金珠宝玉石展览会) will be held from 26 Feb to 1 March 2011 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
