International Famous Furniture Fair (Dongguan), commonly known as 3F, is a leading furniture fair in China since 1999. This semi-annual exhibition held in March and August, now shifted to September, is jointly organized by Dongguan City Government, Houjie Town Government, Dongguan Famous Furniture Association, International Furniture and Decoration (Hong Kong) Association and Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Centre. The 20th 3F will be on from 6 through 10 September 2008.

Every year, over 700 exhibitors from 10 countries gather twice in Houjie and display their latest products in 9 exhibition halls covering 240,000sqm. 3F and its concurrent International Famous Furniture Woodworking Machinery & Material Fair, Dongguan Home Furnishings Fair touch every essential category in the home furnishings/décor marketplace, including bedroom furniture, living room furniture, upholstery, wall décor, decorative accessories, lightings, textile as well as woodworking machinery and materials. It is the most comprehensive home furnishings event in China and the most efficient trading and exchanging platform for the world’s furniture industry.

A Grand International Building Material Exhibition Sponsored by the Most Authoritative Organizers. The China International Building Decorations & Building Materials Exhibition, the biggest and most influential international building exhibition taking place every year in Beijing, is jointly sponsored by the most authoritative organization in China: the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(CCPIT) and China International Exhibition Center(CIEC) . Shanghai’s macro economy continued the strong momentum during the first three quarters in 2007. The secondary industries grew rapidly, by 11.9% YoY. Industrial investment maintained brisk growth and port trade expanded notably. The above strong growth momentum underpinned a favourable climate for Shanghai industrial property market.

Fixed asset investment in industry rose 11.2% YoY during January to September. Total profits of industrial enterprises surged 32.5%, reflecting the robust trend and potential for faster future growth in the industrial market. At the same time, the demand on industrial land and warehouse facilities has been fuelled by the booming port trade, which reached a growth of 20.9%, and increasing port throughput, which expanded by 4.4% to 419.57 million tons.
