WHY: To promote international understanding, intercultural communication and leadership skills through the medium of English-as-an-international-language.

WHEN: October 28 (Tuesday) - November 4 (Tuesday), 2008.
WHO: College-aged students (age 18 – 25) from countries in Asia. Special delegations are planned from nations such as Korea, Japan and Thailand. Participants must have a good proficiency in English and an interest in Asian peoples, cultures and issues.
HOST: The AYF will be held as part of a Pan-Asian Conference (PAC 7) on language teaching to be hosted by the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT). |
