East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), founded in 1952 in Shanghai, is one of the national key research universities under the direct administration of the China Education Ministry. It is constituted with 16 academic schools specialized in science, technology, pharmacy, philosophy, administration, economy, law, literature, history and education. With its graceful environment and advanced facilities ECUST has begun to receive international students since 1950s’. So far over two thousands international students coming from as many as eighty countries and areas have studied in ECUST. 

Tongji University is one of the leading universities directly under the State Ministry of Education in China. It offers degree programs both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Founded in 1896, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is a university under direct administration of China's Ministry of Education. In the past 100 years, it has so far brought up over 100,000 talented people for the country, among whom the most famous one is Mr. Jiang Zemin.

Chongqing University is a nationally famed comprehensive key university in China, directly under the State Ministry of Education, also a university listed among the first group of "211 Project" universities gaining preferential support in their construction and development from the Central Government of China. Currently, Chongqing University runs a graduate school and offers a wide range of undergraduate programs covering diverse branches of learning such as sciences, engineering, liberal arts, economics, management,law and education.

Southwest University (SWU) is a key comprehensive university, under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education. It was newly established in July 2005 through the incorporation of former Southwest China Normal University and Southwest Agricultural University upon the approval of the Ministry of Education. SWU is situated nearby the beautiful Jialing River, and is located at the foot of Jinyun Mountain, a state level scenic spot, in Beibei District, Chongqing Municipality.

Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT) is a key provincial university as well as one of the national universities under "Project 211". It is also an important university under the authority of Hebei province which specializes in engineering studies and combines multiple academic areas including technology, science, economics, management and arts .
