Hebi
(hè bì 鹤壁) is a prefecture-level city in northern Henan province (hé nán shěng 河南省), People's Republic of China. Situated in mountainous terrain at the edge of the Shanxi plateau (shān xī gāo yuán 山西高原), Hebi is about 25 miles south of Anyang (ān yáng 安阳), 40 miles northeast of Xinxiang (xīn xiāng 新乡) and 65 miles north of Kaifeng (kāi fēng 开封).

Anyang City (ān yáng shì 安阳市), a prefecture-level city in the north of Henan Province (hé nán shěng 河南省) near the borders to Shaanxi Province (shǎn xī shěng 陕西省) to the west and Hebei Province (hé běi shěng 河北省) to the north, has a history of over 3000 years, and as such is one of the cradles of Chinese civilization. It was authorized as the capital city of the Shang Dynasty (16th-11th century BC) in the 14th century BC. This is the site where over 150,000 oracle bones were discovered. The name of Anyang first appeared in history during the Warring States Period (476-221 BC).

(zhù mǎ diàn shì 驻马店市) is situated in the south region of Henan Province (hé nán shěng 河南省), in neighborhood of Anhui Province (ān huī shěng 安徽省) in the east. Within the city, it borders upon Nanyang (nán yáng 南阳) in the west, Zhoukou (zhōu kǒu 周口), Pingdingshan (píng dǐng shān 平顶山) and Luohe (luò hé 漯河) in the north and Xinyang (xìn yáng 信阳) in the south.

(xīn xiāng 新乡) is a prefecture-level city in northern Henan province (hé nán shěng 河南省), People's Republic of China. It borders the provincial capital of Zhengzhou (zhèng zhōu 郑州) to its southwest, Kaifeng (kāi fēng 开封) to its southeast, Hebi (hè bì 鹤壁) and Anyang (ān yáng 安阳) to its north, Jiaozuo (jiāo zuò 焦作) to its west, and the provinces of Shanxi (shān xī 山西) and Shandong (shān dōng 山东) to its northwest and east respectively.

Yuntai Mountain Overview





















Yuntai Mountain
(yún tái shān 云台山) is situated in Xiuwu County (xiū wǔ xiàn 修武县), about 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) from Jiaozuo City (jiāo zuò shì 焦作市), Henan Province (hé nán shěng 河南省). This mountain is among the first group from all over the world that received the title of World Geologic Park from UNESCO in 2004. It is also the only famous scenic area in Henan Province having the titles of National 5A Grade Tourist Attraction, National Forest Park, National Geologic Park, National Water Conservancy Scenic Area and National Macaque Natural Reserve.
