BIEE is the most successful and high-impact international education expo in China. Since 2004, we have successfully organized four Beijing International Education Expos. The past four BIEEs attracted nearly 2,000 international exhibitors and over 200,000 visitors, and produced more than 150 cooperation agreements signed on site. BIEE 2007 saw a record number of 550 exhibitors from 23 countries, 89,000 visitors also hit the history record of similar events of its kind. BIEE has got great support from governmental departments, embassies, international education organizations and well-known schools around the world.

In 2008, as being authorized by Ministry of Education, P. R. China, we will continue to organize the Fifth Beijing International Education Expo on May 8-10, 2008 in Beijing International Exhibition Center. With the theme of Open-up, Cooperation and Development, and the aim of promoting the international communication and cooperation in education area, BIEE2008 exhibition consists of three parts: International Education Exhibition, Exhibition of Beijing Education Achievements & Olympic Education Achievements in China, and the Exhibition of Modern Educational Equipment & advanced Technology

Visitors’ Guide

Access Routes
China International Exhibition Centre is located at the No.6 East 3rd Ring North Road, with convenient transportations. Visitors may reach the bus station at Jing’an Temple by buses of Eighth Special route, No.27 route, No. 300 route, No. 302 route, No.320 route, No.718 route, No. 725 route, No.731 route, No.730 route, No.830 route and No.831 route. Ticket Offices and entries are located at the main gate [East Gate] of the exhibition center.

Visit Notice
·Ticket Offices and entries are located at the main gate [East Gate] of the exhibition center. Tickets are requested upon entry.
·Activities venues, such as Projects Introduction of Overseas Study, Lectures of Visa Officers with Foreign Embassies in China, Gathering of Media & Students from Prestigious Global Universities, which are open free for students, who intend to study overseas, and their parents.
·Distribution stations for Journals of the Exhibition are set at consultancy desks in each hall.
·Please refer to the Daily Schedule Board of Major Events, Layout of Exhibition Hall at the entry of No.2 hall for the arrangement of display, activity area and location of each participant.
·Smoking is strictly forbidden in the hall. Please take care of your belongings.
·You are strongly recommended for the consultancy desks [Consultancy Desks are set at Connection Area of Each Hall] for more information.
·Carrefour supermarket and restaurants are by the China International Exhibition Center.
·Dining Area is especially allocated in the exhibition halls during the Expo, providing fast food 15 Yuan each.

Activities
Gathering of Prestigious Universities around World
As the highlighted activity of the Beijing International Education Expo, it plays the platform of direct exchanges and communication amongst teachers, students, parents and prestigious global universities for four consecutive sessions in duration. Representatives of international reputed universities as Harvard University, Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley, University of Minnesota, Moscow University, University of St. Petersburg, University of Toronto, Tokyo University, Chonnam University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong amongst others. Teachers and students in Beijing are widely encouraged to participate into the face-to-face dialogue and exchanges with managers of world top universities about the questions of overseas study policy, scholarship systems and others widely concerned with students and parents. Media reporters of China Central Television, Beijing Television Station, China Daily, Beijing Youth, Beijing Evening, Education Channel of SOHU Network and others will conduct live report.

Projects Introduction of Overseas Study
It is a field activity for domestic and international educational institutions participating into the Expo to conduct relevant introduction, analysis of student enrollment policy and consultancy for students and parents. As the traditional activity of Beijing International Education Expo, it has attracted a number of participants from the United States of America, Canada, South Korea, Malaysia and others to hold the exclusive Student Enrollment Introduction respectively, catching the eyeballs of students and parents both widely with warm atmosphere.

Lectures of Visa Officers with Foreign Embassies in China
As the traditional activity of Beijing International Education Expo, the lectures are deeply appreciated and accepted by students and parents. Visa officers from the embassies of the U.S., Canada, U.K, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and others in China are invited to introduce their visa policy and related clues.

经教育部批准，北京市教育委员会将于2008年5月8日至10日继续举办北京国际教育博览会.由北京市教委主办的“北京国际教育博览会”自2004年起已成功举办了四届，为中外教育机构、教育工作者搭建了教育合作与沟通的平台，充分展示了北京各级各类教育机构在国际合作与交流方面取得的成果和教育改革发展的成绩，现已发展成为北京市国际教育专业展览会，对首都国际教育合作与交流的发展起到了很好的促进作用。
为进一步贯彻落实科学发展观，宣传和服务2008年北京奥运会，推进中外机构的交流与合作。北京市教育委员会将于2008年5月在中国国际展览中心继续举办第五届北京国际教育博览会，内容包括国际教育展、首都教育之窗暨奥林匹克教育展、现代教育技术展以及奥林匹克教育国际论坛等。

展会内容
本届博览会将设立展览、论坛、合作洽谈和文化活动四部分内容。
其中展览部分包括：国际教育展、首都教育之窗暨奥林匹克教育成果展和现代教育技术展三部分内容，并将下设海外留学、国际职业教育与培训、高等教育、基础教育、学前教育、校外教育以及高校科研成果转化、奥林匹克教育、可接收外国学生学校（含外籍人员子女学校）等多个专题。
此外，博览会还将组织国际奥林匹克教育论坛、外国驻华签证官讲座、中外院校一对一合作洽谈等项活动。
组委会将通过海内外新闻媒体对博览会给予广泛宣传报道，吸引广大学生、家长、市民参观。

交通路线
中国国际展览展览中心位于朝阳区东三环北路6号，交通四通八达，乘坐特8、27、300、302、320、718、725、731、730、830、831等路公交车到静安庄下车；博览会购票窗口及入场门位于国展中心正门（东门）

参观事项
· 博览会售票窗口及入馆门在国展中心正门（东门），入馆时请出示门票。
· 展览现场设有“出国留学项目说明会”、 “外国驻华使馆签证官讲座”、“世界著名院校媒体、学生见面会”等活动会场，希望出国留学的学生及家长可免费参加。
· 各馆咨询台设有博览会《会刊》销售点。
· 各参展机构展位、活动区域位置及场次安排请参阅位于二号馆入口处的重要活动日程公告板及展位平面图。
· 展馆内禁止吸烟，务必保管好个人物品，注意安全。
· 不明事项，请前往咨询台查询（各馆内连接体均设有咨询台）。
· 国展中心周边设有家乐福超市、各档次餐厅。
· 博览会期间，展馆内设有咖啡休息区，中式快餐每份15元。
推荐项目
可接收外国学生学校（外籍人员子女学校）教育展
北京共有71所可接收外国留学生的高校，85所可接收外国学生的中小学，并有19所外籍人员子女学校，展馆内专门为这些学校设立了展区，您可以到各个学校的展台前了解有关接受外国学生的详细信息。
国际职业教育与培训展区
内有汉语培训、职业培训等机构进行展示，您可以了解相关课程。
安全须知
为保证您顺利参观北京国际教育博览会（2008）的各项活动，请您遵守以下安全管理规定：
一、观众必须遵守博览会安全管理规定，服从现场安全保卫人员管理。
二、观众凭票入场，进入展馆请出示。观众持赠票，请到博览会售票窗口换取电子门票；观众购票，请到博览会售票窗口购买。不得从票贩子手中购买门票，如因此发生的任何问题由观众承担全部责任。
三、展馆内严禁吸烟。如有发现，经教育不改者要按《消防法》及《北京市消防局消防条例》要求对吸烟者进行罚款，造成事故者追究刑事责任。
四、展馆内人多，注意防盗。贵重物品，如身份证、钱包、照相机、手提电脑等尽量不要带进展馆，更不要随手放置。一旦发生物品被盗，请迅速到展览现场公安办公室报案（3、4号馆连接体楼梯二层平台，报警电话84601650）。
五、参观展台不能拥挤，注意展架安全。
六、如果发生意外事故，必须服从现场指挥，不要慌乱。发现不明物体时不要随便乱动，应报公安办公室处理，防止发生爆炸等事件。
七、参加各项活动请注意维护场内秩序。
八、每日闭馆时，必须服从现场管理，按时、有序退场。
