Event Description:
Few developments in China will have greater impact on the world economy than the Go West campaign, the process to open up China’s vast interior. The August State Council meeting placed the Yangtze at the core of China’s efforts to build a comprehensive, efficient, low carbon emission transport system, signaling a new round of accelerated investment in the world’s largest cargo-carrying river. This relentless investment in modernizing the Yangtze and its supporting road and rail network on an unprecedented scale is set to transform China’s economic landscape within the next 10-15 years. This Supply Chain & Logistics Roadshow in Jiujiang (jiǔ jiāng gòng yìng liàn jí wù liú lù yǎn 九江供应链及物流路演) will spend two days out of the office and meet and network with Council members and other senior executives in supply chain, procurement or logistics in a new setting.

The purpose of this roadshow:
• Meet with senior officials of Jiujiang ETDZ and investigate opportunities for manufacturing, logistics and trade
• Look at the city’s transport infrastructure, particularly SIPG Jiujiang port and learn about the city’s future plans
• Assess and get a 'feel' of the overall environment in Jiujiang by visiting some of the leading manufacturers operating there

Other important points:
• The tour will start around at 8 am on Thursday, December 2 from the hotel lobby.
• First priority will be given to Council members, seats confirmed on a first paid, first come basis.
• All payments must be made in advance by credit card online payment, TT bank transfer or in cash.
