The average height of the cave is 80 meters, 70 meters wide and more than 4000 meters long. The Panyang River (pán yáng hé 盘阳河) is flowing through under the cave. There are four big halls in the cave, which are resplendent and magnificent. The grandest is the hall which is over 100 meters high, hundreds meters wide and more than 1000 meters long. In the hall, there is a group of stone pagodas formed by tens of stalactites with the height of 70 to 80 meters. With the fog in the cave, the scenery is changeable. You will surely be amazed by it. All these huge stalactites are formed by billions of years. One of them is so thick that ten can just get their arms around. In Baimo Cave, there is a bucket shaped skylight, which is between the north and south part of the cave. The walls around the skylight are upright. Under the cave, there is an orange garden covering an area of 20 mu. Besides the cave, there is a zigzag path leading to the top of the skylight. You can have a bird’s view of the orange trees, which are like green waves.
What’s more, there is a Tiankeng (tiān kēng 天坑) in the cave. Above the Tiankeng there is the escarpment. And on the cliff, there is the Yao Village (yáo zhài 瑶寨), whose only entrance is the Baimo Cave. Springs in this area is regarded as the holly water. The spring is the key to the long-life people in this area.
