Event Profile
STONETECH is the leading trade fair for natural stone & stone technology in China.
In the past 16 years, more and more members of stone industry regarded STONETECH as a prestigious event with presence of almost every leading player for this industry throughout China and the world. The combination of machinery, tools, blocks and final products provides a most comprehensive display of productivity solutions for the stone industry under one roof.

STONETECH 2009 SHANGHAI was held successfully as scheduled. The show attained a higher excellence again in scale and in amount of participants. It covered 75,000 square meters with 4 halls. 800 exhibitors from all over the world gathered at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Many international companies have made their reservation as soon as the previous one ended and they keep on showing themselves every year in the fair.

Highlights
A series of seminars, conferences and forums were held to enrich the exhibition and provide more information to the audience.
Companies from China and Portugal give excellent speeches for introducing their new products.
STONETECH has for the first time had the official support of Confindustria Marmo of Italy, and ACIMM.
At STONETECH visitors could find pavilions from Italy, Iran, Brazil, Turkey etc.

Visitor's Profile
1.The two alternative cities, i.e. Beijing and Shanghai are the top ones which develop most rapidly in China. They hold a lot of experienced realtor's, builders and designers.
2.Exhibiting in STONETECH can get good results because the serious buyers have good access to communicating with the stone sellers directly.
3.Officials from government, embassy and local consulates. The organizers invites them to attend the opening ceremony on the first day of the fair as usual.
4.In previous editions of STONETECH, 57.63% visitors planed to collect market information and 45.76% paid their first attention to slabs. Among the visitors 36.65% were from stone processing companies and 18.09% were from IMP & EXP companies. As for the main function, 48.31% visitors were CEOs, general mangers or vice general managers. Trade or purchase managers occupied 17.80%.
