Butterfly Spring Park (hú dié quán gōng yuán 蝴蝶泉公园) is located 3 kilometers to Yangshuo County (yáng shuò xiàn 阳朔县), occupying an area of 36,000 square meters. It is named after a butterfly-like stalactite found in a grotto of this beautiful park. In the scenic area, there is a fancy cave and the only existing aboriginal hanging bridge. You can enjoy the waterfalls and have a bird’s view of the county.

Stepping into the scenic area, there come into view of a huge butterfly, namely, the monarch butterfly. It covers an area of more than 280 square meters, with beautiful shape and magnificent color. It is crowned as the No. 1 butterfly under world. On both sides of the butterfly, the cliffs are the rock-climbing base. You can watch the show of rock-climbing, or you also can experience for yourself if you are fond of rock-climbing.

Entering the cave, you can see stalactites which are like butterfly. They are in different shapes, vivid and lively. The most unique one is that there is a piece of stalactite is the very image of the a couple of butterfly. It seems like that the two butterflies are whispering to each other. What’s more, there is a natural spring under the butterfly rock. Because there is a spring, under which there is a butterfly rock, hence the name Butterfly Spring (hú dié quán 蝴蝶泉).

Going across the bridge, there is the Butterfly Mountain (dié shān 蝶山), in which there are many wild orchid grass, iris and so on. When the flowers come to blossom, the fragrance will attract many butterflies and bees. Along the zigzag path, you can appreciate many unique rocks. The top of the mountain is the best place to have a bird’s view of the whole countryside of Yangshuo.

In the scenic area, there is a Butterfly Garden (dié yuán 蝶园). It is the largest garden in which there are live butterflies. The garden covers an area of more than 3800 square meters, in which there planting more than 60 species of plants. Tens of thousands butterflies dancing among the trees and flowers. In the Butterfly Museum (hú dié guǎn 蝴蝶馆), there exhibits over 300 species of butterflies. You can appreciate the rare butterflies of China as well as of the world.

Besides the natural scene of the Butterfly Spring, the Butterfly Spring Park will present you wonderful performance.
