Luofu Catholic Church (luó fú tiān zhǔ jiāo táng 罗浮天主教堂) is located in Dongxing Town (dōng xīng zhèn 东兴镇), Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (guǎng xī zhuàng zú zì zhì qū 广西壮族自治区), 5 kilometers from the urban area of Fangchenggang City (fáng chéng gǎng shì 防城港市). The church is originally built in 1832, with a history of more than 160 years. It is the most typical architecture in French style.

Luofu Catholic Church covered and area of 10447 square meters when it was first erected. There were the House of God (jiào táng 教堂), Clock Tower (zhōng lóu 钟楼), Foundling Hospital (yù yīng táng 育婴堂), Boys’ School, Girls’ School, Ren’ai Hall (rén ài táng 仁爱堂), Saint Hall (shèng táng 圣堂) and Textile Hall (fǎng zhī táng 纺织堂) etc. However, at present there only exist the Assembly Hall (dà lǐ táng 大礼堂), the Clock Tower and the Ren’ai Hall.

The Assembly Hall, also called Saint Hall, covers an area of about 503 square meters. The main body of the hall is 8 meters high, 25 meters long and 20 meters wide. It is surrounded by 14 round pillars in the front, left and right. There are 5 arched doors in front, which are unique. In the center above the door, there is a picture of the Eight Diagrams in bright color and delicate. On the top, a cross standing there, . In the hall there are 8 pillars, 5 interlink arched doors. With the delicate and beautiful windows all around, the whole Saint Hall is in solemn atmosphere.

The Clock Tower is the best preserved architecture at present. It is 5 meters long, 4 meters wide and 12 meters high, with 5 stories. There are colorful decorated patterns both inside and outside the tower. On the top of the tower, there hanging a huge clock. Though the Clock Tower is not large, it is impressive by its simple and elegance.

Ren’ai Hall is a building with two stories, covering an area of more than 300 square meters. It is originally used as the residence of nuns. The rooms and the hall are connected, which makes the hall simple and compact.
