Shanghai International Disaster Reduction, Emergency Management Technology & Equipment Fair (SIDR for short) is sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Dujiangyan Government. We received energetic support and help from Shanghai Emergency Management Office while communicating with Dujiangyan Government during the show. SIDR2009 is one of the four exhibitions sponsored by Shanghai Government. The other three exhibitions are CIIF, ECF, and ISF China.
The main objective of the show is to improve emergency management capabilities of all levels of China government and public consciousness on disaster prevention and mitigation. Therefore this show is different from general trade fair because of its strong public benefit.
