Event Profile
China Education Expo 2009, approved by Ministry of Education and sponsored by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), will be open its door to all that wishing to study abroad on 17 October, 2009 and will cover Beijing, Wuhan, Shanghai, Chengdu and Guangzhou in the following weeks.

The event have been viewed as an opportunity for overseas school to expand their presence in the world's potentially largest recruitment market, therefore have been sponsored by 17 national groups including Argentina, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands and UK.

Apart from information booths where visitors will be able to collect relevant information from representatives of the participating institutions, presentations will also be made where students can find out more about study opportunities and scholarship programmes.

As one of the most-anticipated events by the overwhelming number of visitors every year, around 78,000 visitors were registered in the year of 2008.

Highlights
The previous event was attended by around 400 learning institutions from around 28 countries & regions, in which 12 national pavillions were being represented. Some 80 journalists from around China covered the event intensively & positively. The number of visitors amounted to 39000 in which Beijing has seen 24000 visitors while Shanghai around 15000 visitors.
