The inaugural CEEC 2009 will be held in conjunction with the 6th Wind Power Asia, Asia's largest trade fair for wind energy technology. Wind Power Asia has been developing rapidly with the rise of China's wind power industry. In 2008, the 5th Wind Power Asia spanned across 23,000 sqm with more than 260 exhibitors, gathering almost all the leading manufacturers, suppliers, and technology and service providers in the wind power industry.

CEEC 2009 is being organized in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and will feature a high profile conference and seminars, serving as an extension of Wind Power Asia to provide solutions and technology in other areas of renewable energies. The co-location of the two events will provide delegates a broader perspective on the development of the entire renewable energy industry, and offer them a one-stop knowledge-sharing and networking platform.
