PALM 2006 concluded successfully with over 168,911 buyers from over 65 countries visiting some more than 1,000 exhibitors from 60 countries. This mega event occupied 80,000 sqm of exhibition space at the Beijing China International Exhibition Centre. The number of visitors increased by 19% in 2006.

ABOUT CETA

China Entertainment Technology Association(CETA) was established in 1991,under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture,People’s Republic of Chna.It is a national first class public organization and an authorized representative in the entertainment technology industry of China.CETA represents nearly 1200 members covering reputed enterprises in pro-audio and light,Chinese and westen musical instrument,stage machinery,and stadium&gymnasium entertainment equipment.

In November 2004,Performing Venue and Equipment Committee came into being with the approval of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Civil Administration.It is a comparatively independent academic institution under the guidance of CETA.There are 36 committeemen who are all the experts and scholars,and 3 subcommittees respectively pro-audio,light and stage machinery.The main tasks of the Committee includes:establishing technical criterion and standards of the industry;evaluating the technical grades of theatrical equipment enterprises;providing consultation concerning feasibility of performance arena project,stage technical design.;carrying out various kinds of technical exchange and training.

Approved by the Ministry of Culture,the Ministry of Science and Technology and the General Administration of Press and Publications,the Association began to sponsor Entertainment Technology In August 2003,The publication department was established in the same year and the first issue was published in January 2004.It provides a platform of resourse sharing for the professional technical personnel,manufacturers,distributors, customers and contributes its effort to the promotion of the entertainment scientific and technological progress in China and even in the word.
