Date: 12.5. - 14.5.2009 Bakery China - International Trade Fair for the Bakery and Confectionery Industry in China, is the largest trade fair of its kind in the Asian region. It opens its' doors in Shanghai every year, with GHM and IMAG as the largest co-organizer representing the international region. This trend is more obvious at the Bakery China than anywhere else. With an increase of 13 percent in terms of exhibitors and 12 percent more visitors, Bakery China came to an end at the Shanghai New International Expo Center on 22 May 2008. For three days, 900 companies from around the world presented their latest technologies from the baking industry at the international trade fair for baking, confectionary and packaging machines, raw baking ingredients and decoration materials. Due to the large demand, the originally planned exhibition area of four halls even had to be expanded to five and a half halls covering a total area of 64,000 m2. IMAG, Germany
