China commercial franchise has achieved a rapid growth with the economic development of the country. According to the data from China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA), China franchise systems have reached 2,800 by the end of 2007, an increase of 7.7% than that of one year before. Up to the end of 2007, the total number of the commercial franchise outlets in China exceeds 230,000, 15% more than that in 2006, ranking the number one in the world. The average number of outlets per system increased from 57 in 2004 to 82 in 2007. The rapid growth indicates China's altcommercial franchise prosperity.

The implementation of new Administration Regulations for Commercial Franchise has improved the franchise legal circumstance and created a more standard, fair and harmonious business environment, which surely promote the development of China franchise.

Why to Exhibit

According to the updated statistics from the book 2008 Blue book of franchise in China released by China Chain Store & Franchise Association in April, 2008, there have been about alt2320 franchise systems and 168,000 franchised outlets in China by the end of 2008. Franchised outlets that every franchise system owns on average increased by 28% from 57 in 2004 to 73 in 2008.

According to a survey report on the status of foreign franchise chains development in China released by CCFA in Sept. 2008, fourteen of the Top Twenty Brands in US have entered Chinese market. The targeted cities for their development are Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. There are seven foreign brands entering through master franchise. The royalties are collected by four different means; the most common one is a percentage on sales revenue, accounting for 77% of the total foreign brands. When choosing the partner, the major factors foreign brands concerned are government relations, industry background, present business performance, management skill and capital resource.
