Jointly organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Light Industrial Products and Arts-Crafts (CCCLA), Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd., Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. and Guangdong Modern Convention and Exhibition Management Co., Ltd, the 9th Dongguan China Shoes (Spring 2009),the UFI-approved footwear event in Asia, will be held on 5-7 May 2009, along with Canton fair shoes section (May 3-7), at GD Modern International Exhibition Center,Houjie, Dongguan.

Continuous with the success of the past editions, it is expected that more than 300 exhibitors will showcase their latest product collection and fabulous concurrent events in the shoes zone, such as fashion show and buyers’ dinner will be held accordingly. Besides, CCCLA Pavilion, Hong Kong Pavilion, Taiwan footwear Pavilion, Putian Shoes Pavilion and Dongguan Leather & Material Pavilion will participate in this grand event.

To cope with the demand from buyers, specialized “Accessories,Leather&Materials” zone will provide the opportunity to exhibitors to demonstrate their high-quality products and fashion trend. A specialized zone on synthetic leather will be set up to showcase all quality leather.

Industry experts and professionals will be invited to deliver keynote speeches on topics such as design & technical trends, how design helps brand building, how to explore China market, how to develop new business markets, how to upgrade technology level & quality standard, and the latest accessories trend of 2009/2010.

Together with the concurrent China Shoetec, the total exhibition area of the twin events is expected to reach 23,000sqm, and will embrace 530 exhibitors. Around 21,000 overseas and local visitors will visit this fair. The newly format of shoes zone, accessories, leather & materials zone and machinery zone will make its contribution to the comprehensive industry chain.

The 3-day event, The 8th Dongguan China Shoes . China Shoetec (Autumn 2008) closed consummately on November 1, 2008 at GD Modern International Exhibition Center, Houjie, Dongguan, PR China. Although with the challenges of worldwide economic downturn & the new show dates, the show was smoothly run under the support of industry players. With the aim to assist exhibitors in developing domestic and emerging overseas markets, and in realizing breakthrough on design, trend & technology, the exhibition has explored new business opportunities for exhibitors via various means, and the expected targets have been reached.
