China (Guangzhou) International Trade Fair for Home Textile ( original: Hometextile China ) will be held with new partners on 18 March, 2009. It will carry on the strategy of "artistic textile", which possesses the character of complement of the "whole home décor", providing home textile, soft decoration , accessories, home textile related products and services and more for buyers at home and abroad.

China (Guangzhou) International Trade Fair for Home Textile will be organized by the China National Textile & Apparel Council and China Foreign Trade Centre (Group). Hosted by China Home Textile Association, CCPIT TEX, China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Corp. and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. are to be integrated as a strong host team combining industry associations with professional show organizers to run the show.

To make the show better, Hometextile-Intertextile Guangzhou 2009, short for China (Guangzhou) International Trade Fair for Home Textile, will be co-organized by the China National Textile & Apparel Council and China Foreign Trade Centre (Group). China Home Textile Association, CCPIT TEX, China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Corp. and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. are to join together as a strong host team combining industry associations with professional show organizers to run the upgraded Hometextile China. They all strive to achieve successful cooperation between the industrial associations and professional exhibition organizations.

New Schedule, New Exhibition Area

The new exhibition area of the Third Phase guarantees exhibitors more space for creative artwork. Hometextile-Intertextile Guangzhou 2009 can now share more buyers with each other from all over the world.

In order to guarantee the quantity and quality for the buyers, Hometextile-Intertextile Guangzhou2009 has rescheduled its dates to March 18th-21st, being staged alongside with the CIFF 2009 March and Homedecor China 2009. Creating a picture of a “Grand Home Decor” event, the exhibitions are expected to attract more than 120 thousand buyers worldwide.

New Expectations for Hometextile-Intertextile Guangzhou 2009

With a renewed emphasis on cooperation, Hometextile-Intertextile Guangzhou 2009 wishes to invigorate the current situation of the domestic textiles Fairs by boosting Hometextile-Intertextile Guangzhou 2009 to be the best in China. The positioning of the product categories will be enlarged to include concepts such as “Technological hometextiles” and “Grand Home Decor” events. In the past, curtains used to be the major product at Hometextile-Intertextile Guangzhou 2009, accounting for over 95%. Now it will be broadened to include more bedding, handcrafted hometextiles, sofa cloth and carpets.
