Venue: Shanghai New International Expo Center

Shanghai has gained a reputation with overseas business people as the most developed city driven by the Chinese Central government. That's why Fashion Shanghai (formerly named SIT: Shanghai International Textile Expo) was launched by STTSEC (a subsidiary of Shanghai Textile Holding Group and the organizer of ShanghaiTex: the biggest exhibition in China ) jointly with Fashion World Wide (previously SBA), representative of Premiere Vision in Asia at that time. Fashion Shanghai has become one of the major events of the Shanghai International Fashion Cultural Festival, organized by the Shanghai Municipal City Government, and has started to combine a garment section (formerly named SIFE: Shanghai International Fashion Expo) in the exhibition in order to meet strong market demand.

Fashion Shanghai is dedicated to the ideal trade fair for the distribution of fashion goods as well as textile fabrics. All the important cities located on the eastern coast of China have played tremendous role in garment manufacturing on the one hand, and provided the perfect business environment for foreign investment on the other.
