Fudan University
Colleges and Universities

Located at 280 Zhengtong Road, Shanghai, the International Cultural Exchange School is one of the 17 full-time schools of Fudan University. Although it was officially founded in 1987, this school began to take international students as early as fifty years ago. Now it has 600 undergraduates, 700 students in long-term training courses and 700 students in short-term training course.

This school has close connections with institutions of higher learning in many countries. Apart from inter-college exchange programs, this school has established a number of Chinese teaching centers abroad, e.g., the Fudan-Xinsida Chinese Language Institute in Singapore, Hiroshima Campus in Japan, and the Nordic Confucius Institute in Stockholm which was founded on Feb. 10, 2005 with the strong support of the National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and Stockholm University and has now begun its operation.
