In 2008, the SNIEC will host Hostec Marketplace Shanghai @ FHC for the third year in a row. Attracting over 17,000 trade only visitors, FHC is the both the longest running and largest industry exhibition in China aimed at introducing and promoting food and drink products to the food hospitality sector in China.

Hostec Marketplace Shanghai is Accuvia Events’ specialist event for hospitality and retail technology. One of the reasons we are hosting the event in this region is because the 2010 Shanghai World Expo will bring continued development to the city, and put a focus on hotels and restaurants there. The show is the ideal business arena for any supplier to present its latest generation solutions to potential customers.

About HOSTEC

HOSTEC (www.hostec.com) was founded by Accuvia in London, United Kingdom in February 2000. In 2002, Accuvia and The International Hotel and Restaurant Association (“IH&RA” www.ih-ra.org) joined forces to combine the HOSTEC and EURHOTEC events to form HOSTEC-EURHOTEC, which is operated in conjunction with FreshRM in the United Kingdom. In 2005, HOSTEC-ASIA held its first Asia-Pacific regional event in Hong Kong alongside of HOFEX, the major regional hospitality event organized by Allworld Exhibitions and Hong Kong Exhibition Services. HOSTEC Marketplaces were also established in Birmingham, United Kingdom within the Hospitality Show in 2005 and within the FHC show in Shanghai, China in 2005.
