Over 650 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions will join Paperworld China 2008, proving its continuing importance for the global stationery and office supplies industry. Among them are Austria, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Japan, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, the UAE, the UK and the USA, while Germany, Malaysia and Taiwan will be represented at their country pavilions. Durable, Novus, World Wide Stationery, Deli, Comix are just some of the leading brands that will be joining the show, which is scheduled to run 27 – 29 November 2008 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. A massive 50% of the exhibitors confirmed are first time suppliers, retailers and distributors to the event.

Hong Kong brand World Wide Stationery, the world’s largest manufacturer of metal ring binders will showcase their products on this year’s largest booth of over 250 sqm. “This show is an excellent opportunity to meet with domestic Chinese stationery factories, who do not attend trade fairs overseas,” said Mr Anthony Sham, Marketing Director for World Wide Stationery.

Paperworld: An International Brand

Paperworld China is the daughter event of Paperworld, held each year in Frankfurt. In 2008, 60,112 visitors from 135 countries made their way to Frankfurt for Paperworld, the world's leading trade fair for paper, office supplies and stationery. 2,255 exhibitors from 61 countries presented the latest products and trends for the forthcoming season.

Paperworld China 2008 is an international trading platform for brand names that want to enter the Chinese market. Exhibitors can display classic items such as writing instruments, pencil sharpeners, writing pads, folders, wrapping paper, and other stationery articles on 45,000 square meters of space, covering four exhibitions halls. Many office product items such as staplers, bulletin boards, binding machines and shredding machines will also be showcased this year. Artists’ materials, hobby products and gift items have been added to this year’s trade fair.
