Furniture World China 2007 again proved its leading role in the north of China, thanks to its 10-year continuous increasing. 526 exhibitors attracted over 35,000 visitors to attend the exhibition from Nov. 14-17, 2007. It took up 32,000 square meters, up 10% comparing its last edition in the exhibiting area.

Furniture World China 2008 -The 11th China (Beijing) International Furniture, Woodworking Machinery & Wood Products Exhibition will be held on Nov. 25-28, 2008 in China International Exhibition Center.

Post-show Report for Furniture World China 2007

It is the tenth edition for Furniture World China. Thanks to the 10-year cultivation, Furniture China has developed into the leading trade fair in China's North, with its ever-improving overall arrangement. Its exhibits profile has been classified scientifically; besides, the exhibiting area keeps the increasing momentum every year, and the exhibits represent the trend of the furniture industry. Furniture World China 2002, following the market trend, started to establish special hall for rosewood furniture and antique furniture. Now, the rosewood furniture has become one of highlights since its first build-up. With high value and wide applicable function, the rosewood furniture is pursued by the investors for its strength in home decoration and collection. At this edition, it attracted top brands to showcase the rosewood furniture and carvings with Chinese cultural characteristics. Rosewood furniture will continue to highlight Furniture World 2008 at Beijing. Hall for machinery and furniture material is another highlight, and it has become the most influential part of the exhibition. With over 10,000 square meters exhibiting area, it displayed innovative products in the industry. The internationality of the exhibiting companies proved the importance of fair: exhibitors came from Germany, USA, Italy, Korea, Japan, Australia, Canada, and Chinese Taiwan, etc. It is known that China has become the import country to manufacture furniture and artificial board considering import and export volume. Taking advantage this opportunity, Furniture World China 2007 provided a technical and trade

It exhibited various woodworking machinery, artificial board (including polywood, MDF, HDF, PBD, etc), hinge & lock, decorating paper and material, furniture components, hardware, logs, timbers, paints, abrasives, chemical products, etc. Chinese civil furniture industry has experienced the period of fast development in recent years, taking up the half of the market share. The types and styles are continuously diversified and fractionized. Now, it has formed: European Continent Classics, American Style, Leisure style, Postmodern Style, etc. Furniture World China 2007 set up civil furniture halls. There are halls for civil furniture that linked the exhibitors and visitors. The show also set up halls for office furniture as well.
