4th China (Nanjing) International Software Products Expo

The China (Nanjing) International Software Product Expo (Nanjing CIS) is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Informatization of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the General Administration of Press and Publication, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government. It is held in September every year in Nanjing, a city that is gaining fame for its hi-tech IT industry. This expo which has been ranked among the “China Top 10 most Influential Expo Brands” by the China Exhibition Summit for two consecutive years, is among the top software expos boasting the highest standard, biggest scale and best effect in China. The Nanjing CIS in 2005 2006 2007have been so successful and the 4th Expo in 2008, holding the sprit of openness, professionalism, mass participation and conglomerating effect will further increase its scale, improve its effect and attract more visitors, making it the most important event in software industry in the second half of 2008. The expo, which provides both Chinese and overseas enterprises a platform for communication and business conference through exhibition, program discussion, high-level talent communication, seminars on hot topics, policy consulting and release presentations, etc, will attract more international exhibitors, and will play a positive role in establishing business relations.

News released from the recently-held press conference by Nanjing municipal government said that the Fourth Nanjing China International Software Product Expo would be held in Nanjing from this September 23rd to the 25th. Centering on the theme of Software Outsourcing & Digital City, a number of exhibitions and conferences such as the 12th Sino-Japan Information Industry Seminar, IT Outsourcing in Europe and North America Fair and Exhibition, 2008 China Internet Conference, as well as 2008 Global Searching Engine Conference would be organized for well-known Chinese and foreign software companies to participate.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Informationalization, Ministry of Science and Technology, the General Administration of Press and Publications, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the provincial government of Jiangsu Province, the fourth Nanjing China Software Product Expo would be organized by the municipal government of Nanjing, IT Industry Office of Jiangsu Province, Science and Technology Office of Jiangsu Province, Copyright Bureau and Jiangsu Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Preparation for the expo has now been initiated. At present, invitations for exhibition participants have been giving to well-known software companies from both China and abroad. Delegations sent by renowned companies in Chinese cities such as Dalian and Qingdao, as well as in UK, Israel and Canada have accepted invitations to the expo. Besides, IT outsourcing companies, enterprises and organizations focusing on internet products in Japan and countries in Europe and North America would also be exhibiting their latest products and most advanced techniques at the expo.

Though all the previous expos were held at Nanjing International Exhibition Center, this year?s Expo, however, would be located at Nanjing International Exhibition and Expo Center at New City, Hexi District. Being three times larger than Nanjing International Exhibition Center, the Exhibition and Expo Center in Hexi would be completed before the fourth Software Product Expo, which would also be the first expo the center would be hosting.
