China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) 2008, Shenzhen

CHTF China Hi-Tech Fair is an International Exhibition on Biotech. CHTF China Hi-Tech Fairis a great get-together for domestic and foreign Hi-Tech professionals. It is the best showcase of leading brands of mainland and the forerunner of Hi-Tech trends. The Fair is the vane of Hi-Tech development in China. The 2006 CHTF China Hi-Tech Fair was hailed as the most important and professional Hi-Tech event of China. The exhibition area spanned over 52,500 square metres(at the SZCEC

Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center). Over 3000 exhibitors from 15 countries and areas, including Hong Kong, India, Israel, Belgium, Italy, Thailand, South Africa, Iran, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Turkey, Burma, Japan, etc. participated. There were over 190 foreign exhibitors displaying a glamorous range of exhibits in 766 booths, which was a growth of 70% from the previous year.

With the help of CHTFs

A batch of such national key scientific and technological projects as transgenic and insect-resistant cottons and ground effect vehicles etc. as well as such projects and plans as the 863 State Hi-tech Project, the State Spark Plan, the Torch Program and the achievement popularization plans have stepped on the road of industrialization and some products with their independent IPRs have entered the international market.

Such international investment institutions such as IDG etc have rapidly developed their businesses in China and many Chinese enterprises such as Guanri, Kingdee and Tencent in Shenzhen etc. have obtained the risk investment and realized the rapid development.

Such world-famous stock exchanges such as New York, Nasdaq, the US, :London, Toronto, Australia, Tokyo, South Korea, Singapore and Hongkong etc. and the stock exchange intermediaries have made business contacts with the Chinese enterprises and more than 10 Chinese enterprises have been listed in the overseas.

A batch of students studying abroad such as Deng Guoshun and Xu Guohong etc. have returned to China to start businesses and such fast-growing hi-tech enterprises such as Lucent are flourishing.

More than 40 trans-national companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Intel, Oracle, Siemens, BT, Ericsson, Phillips, SAP, Sony and Samsung etc. have developed their markets in China and the Asia-pacific regions.

Cooperation has been made between Canadian Harris Corporation and Hainan, China for posts and telecommunications, the EU and Hubei, China for utilization of water resources, Austria and Guangxi, China as well as American MSC corporation and Hunan, China, thus having realized the economic, scientific and technological cooperation and development between China and the foreign countries.

China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) 2008

CHTF 2008, attached with great importance by its organizing committee, draws broad concerns of both the new and old customers at home and abroad. Planning of CHTF 2008 has already begun early by its organizing committee before the end of CHTF 2007. The theme of the fair as planned will become even closer to the development of the times; innovations and special activities carefully designed in the six fairly mature sections of CHTF will add new highlights for CHTF 2008; and the three major professional shows IT of CHTF, CHTF/ELEXCON, CHTF/FPD-EXPO will be further elaborated. In addition, a series of reviews and celebration activities will also be held on the 10th anniversary of CHTF.

At the beginning of the spring in 2008, the preparations for CHTF have already been carried out in full swing. Following some international industry leaders that reserved booths of CHTF 2008 early in CHTF 2007, registration for the three major professional shows of CHTF 2008 has been fully open. Recently, the organizing committee is going to hold press release and oversea promotion activities for CHTF 2008 and is dedicated to making it more international, classic and professional. Besides, exhibition services in CHTF 2008 will scale new heights, the organizing committee and leaders at all levels have raised the expectations and demands of the fair, it is believed that a more brilliant, innovative and effective CHTF will be placed in Shenzhen in Autumn through efforts of all sides.
