With 18 years of history, the Hong Kong Book Fair has established itself as a major event in the publishing world. In order to cater for the needs of the publishing industry, ICE (International Copyright Exchange) will be revamped to make it more practical and convenient for participants to attend. ICE is a “must-attend” event for literary agents and publishers worldwide. Hong Kong is strategically located as the gateway to China for publishers to take advantage of this vital connection. The annual copyright trade in the China is over 15,000 titles and it is rising steadily. Hong Kong is your key to tap into this enormous potential. Hong Kong is also one of the world’s major product and service trading centres. Our unique cultural background and legal framework make us the ideal Chinese language publication and copyright trading point for Asia. Our experience and expertise with English and Chinese languages also make us the perfect place for bilingual publishing. To help exhibitors and buyers succeed in copyrights negotiations at Book Fair, the following services will be provided: 1. Copyright Online Catalogue Exhibitors will upload their book information to the Book Fair website on or before mid-July for buyers’ or literary agents’ reference 2. Rights Centre The Rights Centre will be set up at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Meeting Room 204-5. It will be furnished with meeting space, email service and business facilities such as copier, fax machine, computer etc. Exhibitors can reserve meeting space for their business discussion. Admission : - Open to public by ticket admission - Adult Ticket: HK$25 - Child Ticket: HK$10 (for children 1.22m tall or under / primary school students) - Children under 3 and elderly over 65 will be admitted free of charge - Morning Admission Ticket: HK$10 (available for sale at the fairground each day before 1:00pm) - There will be no admission to the venue 45 minutes before the announced daily closing time of the Fair Contact Us
