The 2007 fair underlined its status as an international event with 113 exhibitors from 20 countries & regions, including Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the British Virgin Islands, the United Kingdom and the United States. Strong interest from buyers The response of buyers to the last event was excellent. Over 6,700 trade buyers came from 64 countries & regions to check out exhibitors’ offerings. The obvious advantage of a one-stop trading platform, which had been lacking in the region, is a big drawcard for buyers. At the Hong Kong International Medical & Health Care Fair they have an overview of the industry and an update on the newest technology, products and services. Exhibitors also have had the chance to interact with end-users and gain vital feedback on their products because the fair was open for public visitors on the remaining three days. In 2007, over 80,900 members of the public came through the doors.
