The Asia Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineers (APCChE) was formed to provide a focus for various non-profit societies, associations and institutions working in the field of Chemical Engineering in the Asian Pacific region. APPChE comprises of member Societies in 13 countries and regions. The American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Institution of Chemical Engineers (UK) are corresponding members.

The Conference will be held from August 4 (Mon.) to August 6 (Wed.) 2008 at Dalian World Expo Center. It is a newly built and modern center for exhibition and conference ). Dalian World Expo Center stands in the largest Square in Asia – Xinghai Square, 10 km away from Dalian international airport.
As one of the biggest facility specifically designed for conferences and exhibitions, the Center has an area of 5766 square meters, comprising 12 conference halls and meeting rooms equipped to serve a wide variety of purposes, with the biggest hall has a capacity up to 1200 people.
