Penglai-Fairyland of the Orient
Penglai City (Pénglái Shì 蓬莱市), is a port, a town and an administrative subdivision of Yantai City (Yāntái 烟台)in Shandong Province, northeastern China. The port was formerly called Dengzhou (dēngzhōu 登州). Penglai Water City or Water Fortress (shuíchéng 水城), a fortified harbor hidden from the sea, is one of China's oldest military ports, built in 1376 under the Ming Dynasty (míng dài 明代) and is a protected historical monument. It was "the harbor for the fleet of imperial war junks and town for the semi-imperial garrison." The Water City is currently being rebuilt at a cost of 500 million yuan (more than 60 million dollars). There is a plank walk along the cliffs nearby.

Mount Tai-The leader of the ' Five Sacred Mountains '


Mount Tai (Tài Shān 泰山) is a mountain of historical and cultural significance located north of the city of Tai'an (tài ān 泰安), in Shandong Province, China. The tallest peak is Jade Emperor Peak (Yùhuáng Dīng 玉皇顶), which is commonly reported as 1545 meters tall, but is described by the Chinese government as 1532.7 meters.

Mount Tai is one of the "Five Sacred Mountains" (wǔ yuè 五岳). It is associated with sunrise, birth, and renewal, and is often regarded the foremost of the five. The temples on its slopes have been a destination for pilgrims for 3,000 years.

Weifang has a total area of 15,800 square kilometers and a population of 8.6 million. Renowned as the world’s kite metropolis, Weifang has won the titles including China’s Excellent Tourism City, State-Level Clean City, Model City for Environmental Protection, Outstanding Model City of Aquatic Environment Treatment and One of "China Top 50 Cities for Informatization". It ranks 41st in the list of general strength of the upper prefecture-level cities in China released by the State Statistics Bureau in 2006.

Qufu-Hometown of Confucius


Qufu (Qūfù 曲阜) is a city in Shandong Province, China. It is located about 130 km south of the provincial capital Jinan (jì nán 济南) and 45 km northeast of the sub-provincial city Jining (jì níng 济宁). Qufu has an urban population of about 60,000, the entire administrative region has about 650,000 inhabitants.

Jinan-City of Springs


Jinan (Jǐnán 济南) is a sub-provincial city and the capital of Shandong (shān dōng 山东)Province in the People's Republic of China. The area of present-day Jinan has played an important role in the history of the region from the earliest beginnings of civilization and has evolved into a major national administrative, economic, and transportation hub. The city is located in north-western Shandong about 400 kilometers south of the national capital of Beijing (běi jīng 北京), it borders Liaocheng (liáo chéng 聊城) to the southwest, Dezhou (dé zhōu 德州) to the northwest, Binzhou (bīn zhōu 滨州) to the northeast, Zibo (zī bó 淄博) to the east, Laiwu (lái wú 莱芜) to the southeast, and Tai'an (tài ān 泰安) to the south.
