Tongji University is one of the leading universities directly under the State Ministry of Education in China. It offers degree programs both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), founded in 1952 in Shanghai, is one of the national key research universities under the direct administration of the China Education Ministry.
