Established in 1985, Shenzhen Golf Club is one of the earliest golf clubs in China. The club was first designed by famous Japanese golfer Isao Aoki. Nelson & Haworth Golf Course Architects were given the task of revamping the course, adding rise, bunkers and water hazards as well as changing to a new grass.
The club has hosted a large number of important events over the years, including the Volvo China Open.
