Mudu Ancient Town

 Mudu Ancient Town
Located at the foot of Linyan Hill (líng yán shān 灵岩山), west of Suzhou City (sū zhōu shì 苏州市), Mudu (mù dú 木渎) is a historical cultural town. It is surrounded by quiet, delicate landscape and connected to the Taihu Lake (tài hú 太湖) through lots of waterways, wins a good reputation of superb grace and elegance. Mudu is the only ancient town worth the reputation of Chinese garden town.

Ouyuan Garden
(ǒu yuán 耦园) is located in the Xiaoxinqiao Lane (xiǎo xīn qiáo xiàng 小新桥巷), Neicang Street (nèi cāng jiē 内苍街), Suzhou City (sū zhōu shì 苏州市), Jiangsu Province (jiāng sū shěng 江苏省). It is one of the four classical gardens in Suzhou. And it is listed in cultural relics unit under Jiangsu protection, as well as the world cultural heritage by UNESCO.

Tongli Ancient Town

         Tongli
Located at the bank of Tai Lake (tài hú 太湖), with eight lakes surrounded, Tongli (tóng lǐ 同里) is an ancient town famous for its beautiful scenery. The town is divided into 7 parts by 15 small rivers. All the parts are connected by 49 ancient bridges, making these parts an integrated area. Most of the architectures in Tongli are built by riverside, famous for “small bridge, flowing stream and thatched households” (xiǎo qiáo liú shuǐ rén jiā 小桥流水人家). Tongli is the best-reserved ancient town by riverside as well as the key cultural relics protection unit of province level, which has been listed as one of 13 scenic spots of Tai Lake.

Located in Suzhou City (sū zhōu shì 苏州市), the Humble Administrator’s Garden (zhuō zhèng yuán 拙政园) is known as the No.1 of the four classical gardens of Suzhou. It occupies a very significant position in Chinese gardening history and represents the historical characteristics and achievement of gardening in the south region of Yangtze River (cháng jiāng 长江).

The Drum Tower

Early in the year 1983, the majestic view on the Drum Tower (gǔ lóu 鼓楼) was selected to be "the top 40 sceneries in the new Jinling (jīn líng 金陵)" Once again 20 years later, while the selection of the "newly top 55 sceneries of Nanjing" was carrying out like a raging fire, the Drum Tower became a hot candidate to win the selection as one of the symbolic buildings of Nanjing.
