Dr.Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum

   Dr. Sun Yet-sen's Mausoleum
The scenic area of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum (zhōng shān líng 中山陵) is the tomb of Dr. Sun Yat-sen (sūn zhōng shān 孙中山, 1866-1925), the great forerunner of democratic revolution of China. The mausoleum is located at the southern foot of Zhongshan Mountain (zhōng shān 钟山), Nanjing City (nán jīng shì 南京市), Jiangsu Province (jiāng sū shěng 江苏省), facing the plain with the verdant mountain at its back. Having been constructed in 1926 and completed in 1929, Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum covers an area of more than 133 hectares. With a great significance and magnificent beauty, it attracts many people from home and abroad.

Zhouzhuang (zhōu zhuāng 周庄) is a 900-year old town in Jiangsu (jiāng sū 江苏) Province, China. It is 30 km southeast of Suzhou (sū zhōu 苏州).

Zhouzhuang is a popular tourist destination. It is one of the most famous water townships in China, noted for its profound cultural background, the well preserved ancient residential houses, the elegant watery views and the strong local colored traditions and customs. It has been called the “Venice of the East”.
