Kanbula National Forest Park

Located in the northwest of Jianzha County (jiān zhā xiàn 尖扎县), 131 kms from Xining, the Kanbula National Forest Park (kǎn bù lā guó jiā sēn lín gōng yuán 坎布拉国家森林公园) covers an area of 39.17 square km. The park is featured with its stone peaks of Danxia landform, forests and man-made sight. This scenic spot consists of hills, eroded hillock, and small basins among mountains, with 50 tourist attractions, of which Danxia landform, Buddhist temples, and Lijia Gorge Power Station (lǐ jiā xiá shuǐ diàn zhàn 李家峡水电站) are the highlights.Kanbula National Forest Park is an ideal place for sightseeing, worshiping, and summer resort. The weather amid the mountains can change very frequently. The middle segment of Nanzong Valley, which extends 5 km, should be the most beautiful place in the park.

Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (hǎi xī méng gǔ zú zàng zú zì zhì zhōu 海西蒙古族藏族自治州) is an autonomous prefecture in northern Qinghai province of Western China. It has an area of 325,785 square kilometers (125,786 sq mi) and its capital is Delhi. The name of the prefecture literally means "west of Qinghai Lake". Geladandong Mountain (gé lā dān dōng shān 格拉丹东山), the source of the Yangtze River, is located here.

Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (hǎi nán zàng zú zì zhì zhōu 海南藏族自治州), lying in the east of Qinghai Province (qīng hǎi shěng 青海省), is also called Hainan, because it is situated on the south of famous Qinghai Lake (qīng hǎi hú 青海湖), with many scenic spots noted in China and foreign countries which make people linger on. Its distinct tourist attractions are composed of distinctive ethic features, colorful religious festivals and culture and the mysterious and dignified ceremony in honor of the sea. Hainan has also attracted thousands of tourists from home and abroad, with a long history of Buddhism culture and magnificent scenery of the plateau.

Haidong Prefecture
Haidong Prefecture (hǎi dōng dì qū 海东地区) is a prefecture of Qinghai province in Western China. Its name literally means “east of the (Qinghai) Lake”. The prefecture is subdivided into 5 county-level divisions: Ping'an County (píng ān xiàn 平安县), Ledu County (lè dū xiàn 乐都县), Minhe Hui and Tu Autonomous County (mín hé huí zú tǔ zú zì zhì xiàn 民和回族土族自治县), Huzhu Tu Autonomous County (hù zhù tǔ zú zì zhì xiàn互助土族自治县), Hualong Hui Autonomous County (huà lóng  huí zú zì zhì xiàn 化隆回族自治县) and Xunhua Salar Autonomous County (xún huà sǎ lā zú zì zhì xiàn 循化撒拉族自治县).

Amne Machin Range

Amne Machin Range
The Amne Machin range (ā ní mǎ qīng shān 阿尼玛卿山) itself is an eastern extension of the greater Kunlun Mountain range (kūn lún shān xì 昆仑山系), one of Asia’s longest most legend laden mountain chains. Located in the Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (guǒ luò zàng zú zì zhì zhōu 果洛藏族自治州), it is here that the Yellow River (so named because of wind-blown loess that is carried in from Central Asia) rises before winding eastward. At its rounded and almost friendly white peaks it achieves just over 6,200 meters.
