Xi'an Jiaotong University

110 years ago, Xi'an Jiaotong University held high the banner of "Saving China by Industry" and shouldered the heavy task of "Strengthening China and Chinese People", "Seeking Practical Knowledge" and "Doing Practical Businesses" and trained many outstanding talents of a few generations. Jiang Zemin, Qian Xuesen, Wu Wenjun, Zhang Guangdou, Jiang Zhenghua and Han Qide are the representatives. They have made great contribution to the boom and prosperity of our motherland. The people of Xi'an Jiaotong University invented the first dynamo, the first radio-station, the first diesel, the first Chinese typewriter in China.

Huazhong Agricultural University

Huazhong Agricultural University (HAU) has a long history of over one hundred years. Its predecessor, Huazhong Agricultural College (HAC), termed Hubei Agricultural College in 1940, was derived from Hubei Farming School (HFS) established in 1898 by Mr. Zhang Zhidong, Governor-General of Hu-Guang region. In 1952 when China 's high institutions were restructured HAC was founded, merging Agricultural College of Wuhan University with Hubei Agricultural College , Agricultural College of Henan University, Agricultural College of Nanchang University, Agricultural College of Guangxi University, Agricultural College of Zhongshan University and some departments of Hunan Agricultural College . HAC had its name changed to HAU in 1985.

The Second Military Medical University

The Second Military Medical University (SMMU), formerly the People's Medical College of the East China Military Commanding Region, was founded in September 1949, and named in July 1951. Now it is the CPLA key institution of higher learning for training graduates and the key university supported by the state "Project 211".

The SMMU is composed of five major leading bodies: the Training Department, the Political Department, the School Affairs Department, the Scientific Research Department and the Graduate School; twelve subordinate establishments: the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, the Department of Naval Medicine, the School of Pharmacy, the Department of Health & Hygiene Services, the Department of Nursing Science, the Department of Foreign Training, the Graduates Management Brigade, the Cadet Brigade,Changhai Hospital,Changzheng Hospital, Hepatobiliary Eastern Hosptial and Nanjing School of Military Medicine.

Northeast Agricultural University

Northeast Agricultural University, founded in Harbin in 1948 and originally named Northeast Agricultural College, is a key university directly under Heilongjiang province and one of universities of Project “211”. It is located in No.59 Mucai Street, XiangFang District, Harbin.NEAU comprises 18 colleges and 1 Education Department, covering the disciplines of Agronomy, Engineering, Science, Economics and Management. There are 3 key disciplines of national level, 3 key (under cultivation) disciplines of national level, 2 key disciplines under the Agricultural Ministry, 2 key disciplines of provincial level, 6 first-class provincial key disciplines and 29 second–class ones.
