Market China is looking forward to welcoming you With over 1.3 billion people, the People's Republic of China is the world's third largest country and the world's fastest-growing economy. Developing effective and profitable operations in China is undoubtedly the greatest single opportunity for companies today. Since 1978, when China opened its doors to the outside world, China has enjoyed tremendous annual economic growth. It is now the second largest economy in the world and the world's single biggest recipient of foreign direct investments among developing countries. China's accession to the World Trade Organization is widely expected to trigger a further wave of inward investment from foreign companies as the terms of entry to new sectors of the China economy are progressively liberalized. China is a dynamic market and international investors and buyers can find a wide range of quality products at very competitive prices. Police equipment market is growing 20% annually: Public security organs are faced with heavier anti-terrorism and anti-riot tasks and their demand for security protection equipment is growing, according to the committee. In the course of modernizing their equipment, it is deemed necessary for China's public security departments to draw on the experience of foreign countries and import advanced technology or equipment to improve their ability to detect, control and handle crimes. The industry sees China as the second largest security equipment market in the world after the US and expects this to grow at an annual rate of over 20%, to reach US$1 billion by 2008. China's Ministry of Public Security attaches particular importance to exchanges of information and cooperation with leading foreign police equipment companies. There is certainly considerable room for increased business in a growing sector. In particular, as capital of China, Beijing's need to upgrade its police equipment and anti-terrorism capability in an all-round way to boost the market demand for police equipment and anti-terrorism technology. It will generate immense market opportunities, given the requirements for all kinds of police equipment. Exibition Review CIPATE 2007: GREAT SUCCESS!
