The Sixth Asia Pacific Conference on Transportation & Environment

This conference will feature two major tracks: Road Safety and Green Technology. The highlight of these tracks will be the Road Safety Forum (discussing road and traffic safety issues in the Asia Pacific region) and the Green Technology Forum (identifying environmentally friendly technologies suitable for application in the Asia Pacific transportation industry and the highway sector in particular).

Intertraffic China 2008

The second edition of Intertraffic China took place from 24 to 26 April 2008 in the Beijing Exhibition Center, in conjunction with the ninth International Exhibition on Road and Water Transport Technology and Equipment (China Transpo). Intertraffic China 2008 was well attended and considered a successful event by visitors and exhibitors alike. Some 149 exhibitors from 13 countries took part and welcomed 6,140 visitors.

The opening ceremony of Intertraffic China was performed by Weng Mengyong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Transport, Zhao Zhanjun, Director-General of the Department of Transportation, Li Juchang, Chairman of the China Highway Transportation Society and Rudolf Bekink, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China.
