USD62 billion ) from other related industrial sectors. This Golden Land Project will build up one complete operating system for surveying the national land resources from the Space, Land and via Internet. In June, 2007, the largest Geo-information Industry Zone was approved for the establishment in Heilongjiang Province, China by the related governmental authorities. This is the first and biggest industrial zone in China and in the world. This project proves the confidence from the Chinese Government to develop the geo-information industry from the three sectors of telecom transmission, information technology services and information content services.
