Crowned as the Oriental Jurassic (dōng fāng zhū luó jì 东方侏罗纪), China Dinosaur Park (zhōng huá kǒng lóng yuán 中华恐龙园) is located in Changzhou City (cháng zhōu shì 常州市), Jiangsu Province (jiāng sū shěng 江苏省). It is an amusement theme park which combines the exhibition, science and entertainment together.

As the symbol of the China Dinosaur Park, the exhibition hall is like three dinosaurs murmuring with their heads rising up. The exhibition hall covers an area of more than 20000 square meters, the highest part of the dinosaur’s head is up to 71 meters, while for the dome, it is high up to 36 meters. There are five main halls and six auxiliary halls. All the halls are connected with each other by logic, with the background of the evolution history of living organisms, especially the dinosaurs, therefore, it reveals that the importance of environmental protection.

The China Dinosaur Park reproduced the unique living environment of Mesozoic era by the splashing waterfall, sheer rocks, ocean with no water, luxurious forests, and the caves. Visitors will enjoy a great odyssey from the Jurassic Period when dinosaurs dominated on the Earth to the Cretaceous Period when they became extinct. Totally there are 36 skeleton fossils of dinosaurs in exhibition, including the world’s earliest, biggest and most complete dinosaur fossil. As for the environment of the park, there are more than 70 kinds of trees, totally more than 4000 plants. The percentage of the green land in the park is up to 70%.

Around the exhibition hall, there are many other leisure programs, which are also colorful in this park. For example, the Discovery of Dinosaur Mountain (kǒng lóng shān tàn xiǎn 恐龙山探险) and Summer Sleigh (xià rì xuě qiāo 夏日雪橇).
