On the bottom of the Wild Yak Valley, there is a alpine medow. In spring, colorful flowers are blooming. The medow is like a beatiful carpet, streching far to the virgin forest. A drift-dam lake, which is called Changhaizi (cháng hǎi zǐ 长海子), is situated on the slope of the valley. On the first day to the fifteenth day of the fifth month on lunar calendar, the Tibetans will go to the Changhaizi to pay regiligious homage to the god of the valley. Besides the Changhaizi, there are more than 310 natural five-color pools in Wild Yak Valley.

The waterfall which is sourced from Changhaizi is hanging on the mountain. When it is sunny, there is always a rainbow appearing in the afternoon. What’s more, the position of the rainbow will be higher when then sun is lower.

In the virgin forest, there are thick mosses here and there. Cirruses are interlaced with each other. Wistarias hanging on the trees are dancing with gentle breeze. The sunlight goes through the branches, making the forest grotesque and diversified.
